In studying the social determinants of health while at Goddard it became clear to me that our country falls short on so many of them. After briefly speaking of the social determinants of health, I will be speaking on how massage helps peoples individual well being, and has been for thousands of years. Then I will speak about the relation massage has to the social determinants of health both for the therapists and the general public.
